Post Inventory Cost to GL

Hi All,

I have a scenario where cost was not posted to GL since March 2014. The item master has around 60000 records. Now when we try to post the cost to GL its taking too long. 

We had to cancel it 4 times since it starts locking the tables & affecting users. Left it to run overnight as well still didnt finish & we had to cancel it.

Please let me know the best way to over come this & bring the process to current.
