How to add AXReferenceField in the AXGridView in EP (Dynamics AX 2012 r2)

Hi,

I have added one AXgridview for HrmApplication DataSet in my visual studio project .In that AxGridView , i cant able to add AXreferenceField Applicant( which is the foregin key from HcmApplicant table) .

I have referred http://msdn.microsoft.com/EN-US/library/hh330357.aspx, surrogate key .

But i am getting error "There was an error rendering the control object reference not send to an instance of an object"

Please guide me  how to add AXreferenceField in AxGridView .
